Tiger Lofts
Tiger Lofts is a redevelopment of Cambridge’s historic Tiger Brand factory into a loft building with 54 rental apartments and retail at grade. The four-storey structure was renovated and upgraded to create distinctive apartments while preserving the facades and the general patina of the well loved local icon. This is a Brownfield development.
Lindy Consulting Limited assisted the Client through all phases of the project from site acquisition, initial designs, planning approvals, environmental remediation, rezoning, obtaining municipal, regional and provincial grants, Design Development, construction, marketing, and rentup.
Wellington Square
Wellington Square is a project undertaken on a brownfield site in downtown Cambridge. The site is within walking distance of the shops and galleries of the historic Galt City Centre. The project is constructed around a landscaped courtyard. The condominium is an 85-unit, four-storey condominium building with underground parking, the rental building is a 77-unit affordable housing project. The building is scaled to the neighbourhood. Its architecture draws on the historic charm of the area. Each condominium suite has a private balcony or terrace and is well sized for contemporary urban living. The condominium is completed and registered, the rental building is complted and occupied.

The Metropolitan
The Metropolitan is located in downtown Toronto on land surplus to the Metropolitan United Church. The Metropolitan comprises of over 400 residential apartment suites in a 37-storey tower and 800 underground parking spaces. There will be commercial facilities on the ground floor and in the low-rise podium surrounding the towers. The Metropolitan is nestled between two historic churches; its architecture reflects a style that is sympathetic to its surroundings. Within easy walking distance of the Eaton Centre, St. Michael’s Hospital and the downtown core, this project will provide downtown Toronto with a range of rental units in a state-of-the-art building and additional much needed parking.
Lindy Consulting Limited participated in the design process, a design charette with the City of Toronto, assisted the Client to obtain the required Zoning By-laws, a Section 37 agreement, two Heritage Easement Agreements, severances and Site Plan Approval.
